3.) Siri and Siri-only activation may not be available in all languages or regions. Features may vary by region. Requires compatible device and internet access. Mobile data charges may apply. Siri-only activation is not available on AirPods with the H1 headphone chip and Mac computers with Intel processors. Devices must support and have the latest operating system installed.

6.) Testing conducted by Apple in July and August 2024 using preproduction AirPods 4 with charging case connected to preproduction iPhone 16 Pro Max units, all with preproduction software. The playlist included 358 individual audio tracks purchased from the iTunes Store (256 kbit/s AAC). Volume was set to 50% and 3D Audio was disabled. During testing, the AirPods' battery was completely drained by audio playback until the first AirPod stopped playing. Battery life will vary depending on device settings, environment, usage, and many other factors.
7.) Testing conducted by Apple in July and August 2024 using preproduction AirPods 4 with charging case paired with preproduction iPhone 16 Pro Max units, all running preproduction software. The playlist consisted of 358 individual audio tracks purchased from the iTunes Store (256 kbps AAC), volume was set to 50%, and 3D Audio was disabled. During testing, the AirPods' battery was completely drained by playing audio until the first AirPod stopped playing. The depleted AirPods were fully charged. Audio playback then continued until the first AirPod stopped playing. The cycle was repeated until the AirPods and charging case were completely drained. Battery life will vary depending on device settings, environment, usage, and many other factors.
8.) A compatible USB C charger is required for charging.
9.) AirPods 4 are protected against dust, sweat and water for sports and training that do not involve water. Products with a charging case have been tested under controlled laboratory conditions and are classified as IP54 according to IEC standard 60529. Protection against dust, sweat and water is not permanent and may decrease over time as a result of normal wear and tear. Do not charge when wet.
